POLITICS: OH MY GOD! Our president has experienced other cultures?! Oh, no!

But seriously people... freaking out about Obama eating a dog in Indonesia? I ate a cow tongue when I was little. It was disgusting. People down South think that sushi is gross, people up North think that gizzards are gross. People in India think we're freaks for eating hamburgers.

Different regions eat different foods and in Indonesia, eating things like dog, snake, and grasshopper isn't unusual. As a boy, Obama ate what he was fed. As I child, I was fed cow tongue and I ate it. Stop acting like he's some psycho who shot the family dog and roasted it on a spit.

If you don't like his politics, that's fine. To each their own. But please, please, PLEASE stop trying to use stupid things like this to smear his name. Because it doesn't smear anything. It's shock value and it just shows how ignorant YOU are.

BDSM: sub, slave, little, bottom, pet, property...What the heck?!

I have noticed something during my research and experiences in the lifestyle. No one seems to agree on the exact definitions of ANYTHING. The sooner one realizes this, the better. I mean, the general understanding of what a sub is can be basically the same thing across the board, but even that depends on who you're talking to.
The other day I was speaking to a man who assumed that sub meant that it was just a bedroom thing and slave was the term when one is submissive in the bedroom. This struck me as odd because I've always been under the impression that:

    Bottom = bedroom
    Sub = submissive but with limits
    Slave = completely owned with no limits.

 But maybe I'm the one who has it wrong!

Then there are the other terms such as little (subs who identify as little boys/girls), pet (this could mean sooo many things but I've mostly seen it applied to kitten/puppy play) and property. When it comes to BDSM, the terminology is endless and always evolving, but the key is to figure out what term works best for you and always openly communicate what a word means to you when talking to others. Miscommunication should always be avoided AT ANY COST in the lifestyle.

Maybe I should post a personal BDSM vocabulary list to educate all of my vanilla (non-kinky) readers. What do you guys think?

Introduction and Explanation

Welcome to the first day of my very first blog!

Now, some of you might be wondering why my blog is called what it's called. Hopefully this will fix that. :)

Floggers: These are common devices used in BDSM (a form of fun sexual deviancy) that closely resemble a cat-of-nine-tails. If you don't know what one of those is, I suggest Google and not while anyone is looking.

Formula: This one should be easy. It's that gross powdery some of us have had to mix with water to feed our babies who have a harder time digesting mother's milk or can't access breast milk for other reasons.

Filibuster: These are one of the many, many pain-in-the-ass techniques politicians use in order to get their way. I mean really people, grow up and play nice.

The reason why I used these three terms as the title of my blog is simple. I plan on writing about sexual deviancy, politics, and motherhood because these are the three things I know best. Strange combination, right? But in this day and age, all of us young adults are a weird combination of the different roles that we take on in our day-to-day lives. And for those of you who aren't young adults, I hope you enjoy reading this as well!

I know some of you might be opposed to or uninterested in reading one or two of these subjects, so I will clearly announce which topic is being discussed in the title of each post.*

Anyways, this IS my first blog so hopefully you enjoy!
